MOD NY : FASHION TAKES A TRIP

Bursting with color, bold wall graphics, and a soundtrack, this exhibition evokes the vibrance of mod era fashion, art, and politics.

Featuring more than 70 garments, the exhibition Mod NY: Fashion Takes a Trip explores visually groundbreaking and historically significant clothing and accessories in context of how the 1960s fashion revolution challenged, rejected, and reimagined tradition.

The design employs diagonal geometries and overlapping linework, creating a buzz of energy and color. A series of screens divide the four individual themes while simultaneously providing visual transparency to allow comparison between overlapping and contrasting fashions.
